The Fishes In The Aquarium
She does like to observe aquariums in various places; sometimes in the small ones at her place, in pet markets selling various types of fish, and occasionally she visited large aquariums in the zoo, large enough to satisfy her eyes.
Various kinds of fishes swim there and there in an aquarium. They go up and down, sometimes staying near the surface to breathe oxygen, and other times sinking to the bottom to nibble on leftover food.
In the past, she tried to raise a fish, a betta fish, and she named it kale (inspired by the character kale in nkcthi movie). Unfortunately, it wasn't destined to live long, only a few months, and then it went away forever.
Afterward, she didn't dare to keep fish to be my own. Why? Maybe because she didn't have the courage to take responsibility for a fish's life. She couldn't guarantee that the fish she raised would live, be happy, and swim like other fish.
So, to fulfill her desire for fish that she love so much, she occasionally go in walking of aquariums to watch them. Watching a school of fish swimming around is enough to bring her happiness.
Every time she see those fishes swimming around so happily, she can only hope that they will live longer and be happy in their glass box called an aquarium. She hopess they are always well cared for and loved by anyone who sees them.
